SUMMARY
***
Klipper option "Keep selection and clipboard the same" has no effect. I had the setting active since long time and it was working fine, but then I just once deactivated it and now I cannot activate it again.

The setting is "active" in settings panel and klipperrc has a line "SyncClipboards=true", but even after reboot it does not work anymore.

The settings panel for klipper looks quite fishy, too, because it is not translated completely but a mixture of english and my selected language (german). See screenshot.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open klipper configuration
2. deactivate "Keep the selection and clipboard the same" and apply
3. test and notice that it's correctly not synced anymore
4. re-activate "Keep the selection and clipboard the same" and apply
5. test and notice that it's still not synced
6. look into ~/.config/klipperrc and notice the line "SyncClipboards=true" as it should be
7. reboot, test and notice it's still not active

OBSERVED RESULT
Behavior does not follow the option
