Until this bug will fixed, how can avoid it? Downgrading to 5.26.2? Modifying some configuration file? Installing a plugin? Thank you.
something is with vallpaper plugin, buy not the same.

Did the fix work in 5.26.2? I looked back and there were no changes related to symlink handling, and the test is still passing.
Tested and symlink can still be found. What's your folder structure?

Consider that I'm speaking about slideshow, and not single image. The slideshow folder path is an absolute one (/mnt/dati/img/pro-pc/desktop.wallpaper/) In that folder I have symlinked many images from different absolute folders. Symlinked, however, with relative path (beginning with ../ and not with /mnt).
Indeed, if an image is symlinked with an absolute path it works.
I am using relative path and the image is also listed. Are those pictures in a different mount point than /mnt/... ?

Sorry, but I don't understand what I should do. I have reported a bug, that I can see in all my devices (at least 4): everybody can see it. If you try to use symlinked images as wallpaper slideshow, you find that the folder is empty, while it is not empty, but full of symlinked images.

So I admit the bug is solved.
