Description fake.name 2022-11-15 02:25:45 UTC
SUMMARY

The entry for night color control is entirely absent from my system tray. It cannot be added as an entry. Nevertheless the system has night color enabled, and it functions as expected, save for a lack of an easy toggle. I have no real theory as to why.

The system tray icon should be present if night color is enabled on the system, or at least, should be a possible entry.

Do you have the kdeplasma-addons repo installed?

Whoops. Not sure how that wound up not installed. That does it.

Arch is a DIY distro, so I guess that's your responsibility as the end user. Another option is for kdeplasma-addons to be marked as a mandatory dependency in the kde-plasma metapackage. Not sure if the Arch folks would be interested in that though.
