If you make your panel thicker or thinner, does the amount of movement change accordingly?

The panel is the bar at the bottom of the screen with icons on it. To make it thicker, right-click on it > Enter Edit Mode > change its size via the "Panel Height" spinbox. Make it significantly taller or shorter, then reboot. After the reboot, have the widgets on the desktop moved by an amount that's equal to the new panel height, rather than the old panel height?

Thank you. I thought they might. This confirms my theory that it's the panel which is pushing them up when it appears I *think* we may have fixed with in Plasma 5.26. Any chance yo can use the Kubuntu Backports PPA to upgrade your system to Plasma 5.26?

Thank you very much
Wonderful!
BTW & REF plasma 5.26.3 not only fixed this problem but a problem where sound would not work on reboot - only after a restart and where Spectacle randomly, most of the time had the Spectacle widow overlaying the screenshot window or full screen (other mode not tested as the problem went away)
