STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open 'Connections KCM
2. click on '+' button
3. select 'Wi-Fi (shared)' and click on 'Create' button
4. click on 'Save' button
5. click on plasma-nm applet in the system tray and connect to the newly created hotspot connection
6. close and reopen the popup of the plasma-nm applet

OBSERVED RESULT
connected hotspot is duplicated in the popup of plasma-nm.
Plasma watch the attached screen recording.

EXPECTED RESULT
only one hotspot connection

Thank you for the bug report. Unfortunately we were not able to get to it yet. I don't see this on git-master.

Can we ask you to please check if this is still an issue with Plasma 6.3.4 (the latest released version)?

Currently I don't have a device with wi-fi available for test; my laptop broke a few months ago.
I'm going to close this report because you are unable to reproduce.
