SUMMARY
the 5.26.2 update results in the 'windows' (Super_L/meta) keyboard key being permanently bound to the application menu with no apparent way to un-set it

this occurs regardless of which application menu is used

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  make sure Super_L/meta is not bound in system settings > shortcuts/custom shortcuts or in application menu settings
2.  press the Super_L/meta/windows key

OBSERVED RESULT
application menu is displayed

EXPECTED RESULT
application menu should not be displayed
