Hi, I have just discovered a spectacular and fast open-source application for restoring old film photos built with Baseten and powered by the GFP-GAN model. GFPGAN aims to develop algorithms for face restoration. Could you be inspired by it for a future version or see with the author of this development, for an authorization to add this functionality in Digikam Url: https://app.baseten.co/apps/QPp4nPE/operator_views/RqgOnqV Source code: https://github.com/TencentARC/GFPGAN I let you arbitrate, Best regards
GFPGAN is a Python code project. digiKam is C++ one. So, it's complex to integrate. Instead, i recommend to take a look to GMicQt Repair filters which give great results. GmiQt is available in Image Editor and will be integrated soon in digiKam Batch Queue Manager. https://i.imgur.com/9UAggJf.png Gilles Caulier
Thank you very much for this information ! Best regards
