SUMMARY When I send an email, often a copy of it stays in outbox, even if is correctly saved into whatever was specified as sent-mail for that email. The email arrives at the recipient, so it is actually sent. Of course it is much better to have two copies than none... but checking and deleting is getting tedious. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. I haven't yet found the conditions under which it occurs. My suspicion is that it has something to do with whether the sending transport password is available, however it also occurs after a new login with sending though local sendmail. Does anyone have suggestions for what to check for? OBSERVED RESULT Sent mail is stored in the sent-mail folder as well as being left in the outbox folder. EXPECTED RESULT Sent mail is stored in the sent-mail folder only.
