Created attachment 153528 [details] Pasted Draw versus Krita Draw. SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Draw with a square tip brush (configured in brush settings) 2. Draw normally, with a fine result 3. Ctrl + A and Ctrl + C the drawing, then Ctrl + V (paste) into another software. OBSERVED RESULT It results in a totally different draw, with really squary lines on it. EXPECTED RESULT Be able to paste the drawing in other software, like MS Paint or Notion, exactly as the layer is in Krita canvas. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is not a bug in Krita, clipboard data is correct. it is the receiving program to handle the data in the clipboard correctly: in this case MS Paint and Notion does not support alpha channel and they simply do not read it. Try this in any software that supports alpha channel and the paste will be correct. Before copying prepare the image: duplicate and merge the duplicate layers to remove all alpha information, then select all and paste.

I can paste Photoshop content into other softwares like these normally. This problem only happened when I used Krita, and I have already tried many different softwares.
Sorry, but please do not reopen bugs. You can give more information (but "but it works in other apps" is not information) but the status of the bug is for the developers to determine.
