Description Nicolas Bouillon 2002-08-05 13:52:59 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: konqueror
Version: 3.0.2 (using KDE 3.0.2 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: (3.0)
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-bf2.4
OS/Compiler notes:

A way to easy reproduce :
- Open one (or more) windows of konqueror (even web or file manager)
- mount your cdrom device (mount /cdrom or with kwikdisk) (i don't use automount or any supermount)
- open konqueror file manager in /cdrom
- close this windows
- try to umount /cdrom... impossible.

To umount the device i have to close every konqueror windows (web or file manager) even if there are not located in /cdrom directory...

Do you use FAM? When I reproduce this the fam daemon keeps the inode
busy.

bouil@www:~$ fuser /cdrom/
/cdrom/: 526
bouil@www:~$ ps 526
  PID TTY STAT TIME COMMAND

I have the same problems in Konqueror 3.1.3 too. How could that bug be solved ?
