Description Bj 2002-08-05 08:31:37 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kmail
Version: 1.4.2 (using KDE 3.0.2 )
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Mandrake Linux 8.2 2.96-0.76mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-6mdksecure
OS/Compiler notes:

This is a very minor thing so no hurry. I'd like a setting to by default cryptograhically sign all messages that are encrypted. I have today a setting to ecrypt by default when possible. Good. I have a setting to sign by default good but not what I want.

I want clear-text messages to be left unsigned by default since most people I send clear-text messages to don't know or care about the security anyway and don't want to be bothered with the extra overhead in the message.

Assigning back bugs that weren't taken care of to kdepim-bugs.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
