(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: kmail Version: 1.4.2 (using KDE 3.0.2 ) Severity: wishlist Installed from: Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Mandrake Linux 8.2 2.96-0.76mdk) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-6mdksecure OS/Compiler notes: This is a very minor thing so no hurry. I'd like a setting to by default cryptograhically sign all messages that are encrypted. I have today a setting to ecrypt by default when possible. Good. I have a setting to sign by default good but not what I want. I want clear-text messages to be left unsigned by default since most people I send clear-text messages to don't know or care about the security anyway and don't want to be bothered with the extra overhead in the message. _ /Bjorn.
