Description Roman Lebedev 2022-11-01 20:32:47 UTC
While one could of course do that offline, it would of course modify the source files,
which is not always desired, because it obviously changes the hash of the file...

Is this conceptually reasonable to have?

What's the difference between this and ReplayGain?

I'm not sure what the question is.

To reword my initial comment, i'm not interested in any solution,
be it ReplayGain or R128, that requires me to modify the files themselves.

Those two are essentially the same underlying algorithm i suppose,
with R128 being more recent/modern, an official standard,
and perhaps more accurate. I do believe R128 is taking over.
