Cutting a thumbnail

SUMMARY
Cutting/Copying a file on the desktop that has a thumbnail causes it to revert to an icon for a brief moment when cutting/copying


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have a file on the desktop with a thumbnail
2. Cut it.

OBSERVED RESULT
The default icon for the file will flash for a moment when cutting it.

EXPECTED RESULT
The thumbnail should turn translucent (like when something is cut in dolphin where it works fine)
