This code needs an overhaul.
Comment 3 Ismael Asensio 2025-01-31 19:36:06 UTC
Is this still an issue?

I cannot reproduce this currently with several fonts. The code in the module hasn't changed much, but other changes in the basic components from Kirigami (FormLayout or SelectableLabel) might have fixed this meanwhile.

Finally I can test again. As we can see in the screenshot attached to this comment, the bug persists. The screenshot was taken with display scale 150%, but the bug also occurs with display scale 100%.

I'm sorry, but on this latest screenshot I'm not able to see which of the text labels are unaligned.

Can you maybe annotate one example of it?

Thanks!
Comment 8 Patrick Silva 2025-07-17 19:47:41 UTC
the last item of "Battery" section is the more noticeable case.

text zoom and alignment

I've zoomed and traced a line on the text of the last screenshot, but still cannot see the misalignment
Comment 10 Patrick Silva 2025-07-18 13:01:00 UTC
For some reason the alignment looks incorrect in my perception, but your screenshot proves that my eyes are wrong.
Sorry for wasting your time.
