Created attachment 153284 [details] Screenshot.png Just after login I see a black box on the Plasma desktop. Till I open any window that covers it, then the box disappears. It also happens on the live USB. Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.98.0 Qt Version: 5.15.6 Kernel Version: 6.0.2-zen1-1-zen (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 4 × AMD A10-8700P Radeon R6, 10 Compute Cores 4C+6G Memory: 15,1 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon R6 Graphics Manufacturer: TOSHIBA Product Name: SATELLITE L50D-C System Version: PSKXJE-00600KCE
Thank you for the bug report! Please note that Plasma 5.25.5 is not supported for much longer by KDE; supported versions are 5.24, and 5.26 or newer. If at all possible please upgrade to a supported version and verify that the bug is still happening there. If you're unsure how to do this, contact your distributor about it.
Can you open a terminal window, run `xprop`, click on the black area, and paste the output in the terminal window into a comment here?

The box belongs to the desktop itself. Maybe this is due to the frame-rate change that takes place between SDDM and the user session.
Yeah, that or it's a graphical glitch. Either way, it would be a KWin issue; moving there.
