Description vigilanteKDE 2022-10-27 10:23:49 UTC
Application: systemsettings (5.25.5)

Qt Version: 5.15.6
Frameworks Version: 5.99.0
Operating System: Linux 5.19.16-200.fc36.x86_64 x86_64
Windowing System: Wayland
Distribution: Fedora Linux 36 (KDE Plasma)
DrKonqi: 5.25.5 [KCrashBackend]

-- Information about the crash:
I was trying to increase the rows of the virtual desktop. After increasing the number of virtual desktop I pressed Ctrl+F8 and clicked the '+' icon to create new virtual desktop and the setting app crashed. It happened everytime. I also tried closing the setting app after applying the setting but it reverted back to the initial setting after creating 1 virtual desktop.

The reporter is unsure if this crash is reproducible.

Thank you for the bug report!

Please note that Plasma 5.25.5 is not supported for much longer by KDE; supported versions are 5.24, and 5.26 or newer.

If at all possible please upgrade to a supported version and verify that the bug is still happening there.

If you're unsure how to do this, contact your distributor about it.

This bug is a crash report that is over a year old without any activity, as our software is always changing, the information in this ticket is unlikely to still be useful.

If this issue is still reproducible in a newer version of kwin (5.27.5 or 6.0) please reopen this ticket with a bumped version number or it will be closed in 30 days.
