Description Volker Kuhlmann 2022-10-27 04:42:50 UTC
SUMMARY
Right-click on a folder -> folder properties gives an error "Network is unconnected. Folder information cannot be updated." even when the folder is located on local disk, and kmail is set to "Work offline".
Those folders are using akonadi_mixedmaildir_resource_N.

While I'm working locally only I'm seriously uninterested in whether the imap mailboxes are online or not. This error is annoying and serves no purpose.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add a mixedmaildir resource with any suitable directory on local disk.
2. Add an imap resource.
3. Set kmail offline File -> Work offline
4. Right-click on any folder inside the mixedmaildir and select "folder properties".

OBSERVED RESULT
Error about a missing network.

EXPECTED RESULT
No error about unrelated network folders.
