Description Lemuel Simon 2022-10-23 20:58:02 UTC
SUMMARY
Sometimes when Plasmashell starts up, the System Monitor Network Widget (desktop) would load without the text-only sensors. In this case, Upload/Download are the line chart sensors, and SSID/IPv4 Address are the Text-Only sensors. Plasmashell would 'forget' that those Text-Only sensors were selected. Configuring the widget doesn't work either, as re-selecting the missing Text-Only sensors and clicking 'Apply' doesn't add them back to the widget. They are only restored once Plasmashell is restarted.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Login/Start Plasma
2. Add Network Widget to desktop.
3. Add Text-only sensors to the Network Widget.
4. Log out and back in.

OBSERVED RESULT
Sometimes when Plasma starts, the selected Text-Only sensors in the System Monitor widget do not show.

EXPECTED RESULT

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I want to say that this is a regression, as I've only seen this bug happen when I upgraded to 5.26. I didn't report it when I found the bug in the beta, as my build wasn't from the git.

Sorry it took us so long to get to this. I can't reproduce it in current git master, which will shortly become Plasma 6.3. Are you still able to reproduce the issue in Plasma 6.2.5 or later? Thanks!
