SUMMARY Using for example the effect "Motion Tracker" and moving the red box for the position via mouse in the Project Monitor, almost every mouse position -- without letting the mouse button go and actually placing the box -- will create a history entry to go back to though the new location was never accepted by letting the mouse button go. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add Motion Tracker effect (didn't try but I assume and almost hope (buzzword OOP) every effect with a box for positioning) 2. Add a time keyframe for keyframing the effect 3. Click and hold the box and move it arround 4. Let mouse go to finally "accept" the new postion 5. Now go back in history via CTRL+Z OBSERVED RESULT "Millions" of history entries for the position of the box/keyframe. EXPECTED RESULT One entry. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 7
I was not able to reproduce this with 22.08.3 Windows (standalone) on Windows 10, and was not able to reproduce it on some other AppImage versions either. Ctrl-Z takes me back to the original box location without going through any of the positions when I was dragging the box. If you could provide more info or a screen recording of this happening, that could help.
