SUMMARY
Please watch the attached screen recording. The context menu of the task manager opens when floating panel is activated,
and the context menu of the system tray opens when the floating panel is deactivated. I can't reproduce this bug consistently, but it occurs often.

EXPECTED RESULT
no context menu opens when activating/deactivating the floating panel

Needless to say, could not reproduce, and still cannot reproduce. Can you reproduce the issue in wither Plasma 5.27 or 6.0, Patrick? Thanks in advance for checking, as usual! I really appreciate how diligent you are with bug reports. :)

Can reproduce with Plasma 5.27.8, cannot with Plasma 6.

Excellent. Might have been a Qt bug. Let's call it fixed in Plasma 6!
