In Kubuntu LTS, run "systemctl suspend && systemctl hibernate" 2. close the lid of the laptop for a while 3. open it again OBSERVED RESULT It shown a mouse pointer but it doesnt react, I have to force shutdown and reboot. Keyboard, Ctrl+Alt+F4, nothing works. EXPECTED RESULT Hibernation should work normally. This isn't a KWin bug, it's something deeper with your system. I would recommend that you get support from the Kubuntu folks about it, as it will require investigation into parts of the software stack outside of KDE. Thanks!
