SUMMARY The tiling operation of a window on the "open" side of the screen next to another screen on a multi desktop configuration requires a pixel-precision. it would be nice to add a shortcut that (e.g. `Ctrl`) that if hold down creates a "virtual wall" that can be hit by the mouse to allow the same tiling behavior of the "closed" sides of the screen. STEPS TO REPRODUCE Configuration: two monitors side-by-side. Screen 1 is on the left, screen 2 on the right. 1. Drag a window to screen 1 right side to tile it OBSERVED RESULT Mouse overshoot and ends up in screen 2 without showing the tiling preview EXPECTED RESULT Mouse hits the side of screen 1 and the tiling preview is shown SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.98.0 Qt Version: 5.15.6 Kernel Version: 5.15.72-1-MANJARO (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11
Thank you for the bug report! Please note that Plasma 5.25.5 is not supported for much longer by KDE; supported versions are 5.24, and 5.26 or newer. If at all possible please upgrade to a supported version and verify that the bug is still happening there.
