Recording with MAC's built-in microphone doesn't work

Kdenlive just generates an empty audio clip, it doesn't show any error messages.

Confirmed on 22.08.2, M1 Mac. Also checked that "MacBook Air Microphone" was selected in the settings, and it was the only choice.

New to kdenlive, love it immediately for the reason that video editing is pretty easy to follow and bug free compared to openshot and shotcut.

However, audio voiceover is not working at all. Exactly same issue with empty recording being created. Same build installed on a relative's windows machine works no problem. Microphone request permission is not listed for Kdenlive in my Mac's security setting.

My mac is catalina and i have been uninstalling and reinstalling kdenlive 3 times plus restarting the mac to no avail. Also tried to reset microphone with "tccutil reset Microphone" in terminal, then restart the machine and install kdenlive again to no avail.

I finally finished the video including voiceover by using mac's own voicememo recorder whilst watching my video at the same time, before adding the voicememo clip into the video in kdenlive. Serious issue to dent the app's credability for a first time user who was excited to see how the video editing features work. Please fix this as a priority.
