STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. copy a jpg file to desktop
2. select the jpg file and press shift+del
3. cancel the deletion dialog

OBSERVED RESULT
the jpg file is greyed out, like a cutted (ctrl+x) file. After copying another file on desktop, the jpg file is no longer greyed out.

EXPECTED RESULT
the observed result should not occur

Can reproduce. Looks like the file has become cut (as in cut/copy/paste). So if you cancel out of the dialog, the file is still cut.

Cannot reproduce on Plasma 5.27 beta.
