Description Syiad 2022-10-11 14:16:03 UTC
SUMMARY
***
Currently the volume can only be adjusted in percentage steps from 0 to 100%, where the latter means maximum output. It would be nice, if the user could change this to decibels, where 0 dB means maximum undistorted output. The range could then e.g. be from -57 dB to +6 dB like on RockBox (c.f. https://download.rockbox.org/daily/manual/rockbox-iriverh300/rockbox-buildch6.html#x9-1030006.1). A level of +6 dB would then slightly overpower the output at the risk of distortion.
