This is most likely a packaging, upgrade, or configuration issue. Can you try to figure out why it couldn't be loaded? What is the output of `systemctl status --user plasma-powerdevil`?

Hello,
I have the same problem.
When the laptop is connected to 230V power supply it is ok. The power management module is active.
When it is on the battery and after a few minutes of inactivity the screen brightness reduces to a minimum, there is no way to brighten the screen again, and the power management module is not active.
On HDMI output the picture works "normally".
My laptop is a Lenovo G50-80.

Your issue is probably something different. Please submit a new bug report for it. In general, it's best to do this rather than re-opening an old one that looks like it might be reporting the same or similar symptoms. Thanks!

For a test I installed XFCE. There, too, is a problem with turning off the screen on battery. That is, it is not the cause in KDE.
