Description Ridge 2022-10-09 19:36:50 UTC
SUMMARY
In the Wayland session, I disabled middle click pasting as found in "System Settings" -> "Workspace Behaviour" -> "General Behaviour", there is a toggle for the middle click paste function. When I toggle it off, apply and reboot my computer, the middle mouse button still pastes.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Turn off "Middle Click: Paste selected text" in System Settings
2. Apply (and possibly reboot)
3. Copy some text and middle click in a text entry field

OBSERVED RESULT
The copied text is pasted into the text entry field even if there is no text highlighted.

EXPECTED RESULT
Nothing should happen

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: 6.0
KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.90
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.98.0
Qt Version: 5.15.6

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I am using Plasma Wayland, and a Corsair Scimitar Pro mouse with the CKB-Next software loaded. However, uninstalling this software did not fix this issue.

I believe this has been fixed in the final release. Can you test again with the final 5.26 release which is coming out tomorrow? Thanks!
