Video issue on macbook Air with Kstars

After my Macbook Air made an IOs update to 10.15.7, the app started giving like noise stripes on the screen intermittently, so much I can't see where to point my telescope. I tried changing the resolution on the macbook to the other options it has, but still does it. Not so much when the mount is not connected, but when it is it gives me the almost half window affected. I attached a screenshot for ilustration. Thanks for any help.

In looking at the photo, it appears to me that it is probably related to HIPS images not downloading fully or getting corrupted perhaps. Do you have HIPS turned on? Maybe the DSS image set? You can try turning it off or try zooming in and out or panning around to force HIPS to redownload images. Also note that if you are using HIPS, it requires an internet connection to download the images. Sometimes if I know I will be away from internet and want to use the DSS background, I try to make it download images in the area I will be imaging before going out in the field by zooming in and out and panning around the thing I will be imaging that night. If you get the effects you are observing, you can try turning HIPS off and see if that helps.

Thanks for the quick reply! I will try what you suggest and see if it works.

Hello Rob. Indeed it was what you told me. I disabled the HIPS function and
the snow went away. Thank you very much for your help.
