SUMMARY

Launcher > Places > History > Applications > ANY ENTRY
clicking on the app does NOT launch app.

note that
    Launcher > Places > History > Files > ANY ENTRY
    does work eg. clicking on home will open home in Dolphin.
***


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Launcher > Places > History > Applications > click any entry

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens

Apps launch as expected via Launcher > Applications ...
By "Launcher" I mean the button on the far left of the desktop menu bar that open the menu for accessing applications/shutdown etc.

Thank you for the bug report!

However Plasma 5.23.3 is no longer supported by KDE; supported versions are 5.18, 5.24, and 5.25 or newer.
Your distribution is responsible for providing support for older versions of KDE software.

Please do one of the following:
- Upgrade to a supported version and see if the issue is still relevant
- Report the issue to your distribution
