comparision between kate and xfce's mousepad which is ok

The line spacing in kate is not enough for complex characters such as telugu, in which up to two additional marks might appear below letters.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. better to use an input method like ibus or scim and select telugu in indic scripts
2. launch kate
3. type for example: శ్రీకృష్ణ

OBSERVED RESULT
the lower part of the script is truncated

EXPECTED RESULT
the entire script from top to bottom must appear

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
xfce's mousepad behaviour should be taken as a reference

We have added an option in recent versions of Kate to allow the user to change the line height. The option is available in

Configure Kate -> Appearance -> Line Height Multiplier
