When kolourpaint is not running, remove the file ~/.config/kolourpaintrc That should show kolourpaint in its default state the next time you start it, including the colors

~/.config/kolourpaintrc ~ is an abbreviation for your home directory. Assume your login name is nevatron12 then your home directory is most likely /home/nevatron12 so the file is then /home/nevatron12/.config/kolourpaintrc
