Description Jens 2022-10-06 12:44:44 UTC
SUMMARY: see $SUBJECT

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Tag an image with face regions
2. Crop this image so some of the faces are gone
3. Go to "Faces" area

OBSERVED RESULT
Image will still be in all the faces "folders" where it previously was. Thumbnails will be incorrect (not updated).

EXPECTED RESULT
If a person (rectangle) is more than some % (25%? 50%?) cropped away, the corresponding face rectangle should be removed with the crop.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS: KDE Neon 20.04 with all updates applied, Digikam appimage v7.9 as of 2022-10-02.

The Image Editor currently only considers rotation or mirroring of the faces, this too is only better supported with digiKam-8.0.0.
