Download portable binary for KMyMoney on Windows from https://download.kde.org/stable/kmymoney/5.1.3/ 2. unpack 7z file and run start.bat OBSERVED RESULT 2: Performing in startup is very slow, to the point I am not sure if it is even doing something. I will see the splash screen as expected, it will then go away, but it can be upto 15 seconds before the main window will load. 3: Navigating between different primary views (Home, Institutions, Accounts, Tags, Forecast...) has been slightly sluggish. The best description I can give is it felt like being on hotel WiFi - it works, but don't expect to get stuff done fast. EXPECTED RESULT Just by comparison, when reverting back to 4.8.0, it was lightning quick by comparison. Quick to start and navigate. Created attachment 152613 [details] testfile.kmy I tried to reproduce the startup problem on a Windows 10 VM with one installed of kmymoney 5.1.3 (32bit), but could not find much delay. The first start of kmymoney (after a system reboot) with the attached test file takes about 2.5s (checked in dbgview by searching for the term 'Payees model created with items 0') and about 1.3s for subsequent starts.
On the same Windows 10 VM with installed kmymoney 5.1.3 (64bit), the first start of kmymoney (after a system reboot) with the attached test file takes about 2.4s (checked in dbgview by searching for the term 'Payees model created with items 0') and about 1.0s for subsequent starts. If there is additional information that indicates a problem with kmymoney, please reopen the ticket with additional information to be able to reproduce the problem.
