Auto colours picked from wallpaper for window decorations isn't accurate

SUMMARY

Auto colors that can be selected under System Settings > Appearance > Colors > From Current Wallpaper, doesn't extract the dominant color from wallpaper accurately. I'm attaching a screenshot, where I've added a wallpaper which should have produced "blue" as accent color for Plasma, but the algorithm decides on a shade of gray.

The color picking algorithm is much improved in Plasma 5.26 with Frameworks 5.99.
