Hi Everyone, I'm working on Fedora 36 with the KDE spin. I'm testing the burning of a large ISO using k3b. The burning fails (a separate problem), but I noticed the following in dmesg: [171027.111467] capability: warning: `growisofs' uses 32-bit capabilities (legacy support in use) That message has been around since at least 2010. People report it to various distros but no one fixes it. Some folks offer a patch but the patch just bitrots and then the issue is closed. I'm hoping a Fedora and KDE bug report might get it fixed. ---------- $ lsb_release -a LSB Version: :core-4.1-amd64:core-4.1-noarch Distributor ID: Fedora Description: Fedora release 36 (Thirty Six) Release: 36 Codename: ThirtySix ---------- $ dnf info k3b Installed Packages Name : k3b Epoch : 1 Version : 21.12.2 Release : 1.fc36 Architecture : x86_64 Size : 29 M Source : k3b-21.12.2-1.fc36.src.rpm Repository : @System From repo : fedora Summary : CD/DVD/Blu-ray burning application URL : http://www.k3b.org/ License : GPLv2+ Description : K3b provides a comfortable user interface to perform most CD/DVD : burning tasks.
