STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open several instances of Kate, until Kate is grouped in non-icon-only task manager
2. open Dolphin
3. try to drag a text file from Dolphin and drop it into the first instance of Kate (at the top of the list) grouped in the task manager

OBSERVED RESULT
we cannot drop the file because the list of grouped instances of Kate closes on mouseover

EXPECTED RESULT
list of grouped instances should not close on mouseover

I am not sure I get the meaning. I know there is a bug that there is no scroll area for DnD events, but the textual list has to be closed to activate a window.

I asked in #plasma Matrix room and it seems most users don't see the problem. I assume the bug is caused by a very special configuration.

Hummm, I can reproduce even with a new user account created right now.

I can reproduce it, in icons-only and non icons-only task manager. The workaround is to disable grouping or to drag the file to the window itself. I think is feature request.
