SUMMARY When "eraser mode" is ON, the "snap to assisnants" tool doen't work. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. create an assistant with the assistant tool 2. select the brush tool 3. draw 4. enable eraser mode 5. enable "snap to assistants" in the Tool Options docker 6. draw (erase) OBSERVED RESULT the erasing brush is still freehand, without snapping to the assistant guides EXPECTED RESULT the erasing brush should snap to the assistant guides SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: not available (I'm on DWM) KDE Frameworks Version: 5.98.0-1 (not sure) Qt Version: 5.15.6+kde+r177-1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
There is a "Snap Eraser" toggle about three lines below the "Snap to Assistants" option. That should resolve your issue. In past versions, erasers would always snap when snapping to assistants is enabled, but erasers tend to be pretty unwieldy when it comes to snapping, as you may find out when using this option.
