Virtual desktop switching example

SUMMARY
The shadow intensity abruptly changes when switching virtual desktops, which is a little visually jarring.
The attached video probably explains it more clearly.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open any application, e.g. Konsole
2. Pin it
3. Switch between virtual desktops (with the default sliding animation)

OBSERVED RESULT
The shadow intensity changes.
For example, when switching from the 4th to the 1st virtual desktop, the shadow intensity behind the pinned window abruptly increases.
Switching from the 1st to the 4th virtual desktop does the opposite.

EXPECTED RESULT
The shadow intensity should stay the same, regardless of whether or not it has been pinned.
