Description noname 2022-09-29 07:01:58 UTC
I have an nvidia card and two monitors.
Since the update to 5.25.90, kscreen disable the mouse on the main monitor after a few minutes.
The mouse cursor only appears on the second monitor.

Unfortunately I have no notification, or relative indication on this error.( Nothing in dmesg or ...)

It looks like there is no issue on X11

I have found this:

journalctl :
sept. 10 21:59:45 tuxmachine kded5[1708]: kscreen.kded: Config does not have at least one screen enabled, WILL NOT save this config, this is not what user wants.
sept. 10 22:04:36 tuxmachine kscreenlocker_greet[7254]: qt.qpa.wayland: Creating a fake screen in order for Qt not to crash

What do you mean with
> The mouse cursor only appears on the second monitor
? Is the monitor gone from display settings and no longer usable, or is it frozen but still detected?
Comment 3 noname 2022-10-11 11:12:32 UTC
Seem's to be a firefox issue because i have no crash since i'm using chromium.
Comment 4 noname 2022-10-11 11:28:17 UTC
@Zamundaaa.

The main monitor is detected (config is possible with kcreen) but frozen. Wallpaper and widgets are visible but there is no mouse action.
The second monitor remains usable but plasma crashes on exit session or reboot.
Sorry for my english.

I'm disappointed . I thought the problem solved by changing the browser but it came back after a few hours.
Comment 6 Zamundaaa 2022-10-11 12:38:30 UTC
Please attach the output of
> journalctl --user-unit plasma-kwin_wayland --boot 0
once the problem happens

Thanks a lot.
After googling two hours i found someone having the same issue , related to
 https://github.com/paulmcauley/klassy/issues/53

Sorry for the noise.
Comment 8 noname 2022-10-11 15:29:18 UTC
Ps : The author of Klassy seem's to disagree :

" It is also Plasma as there were no problems in 5.25. I can't believe they have released a final 5.26 with whatever this change is! :(

Do you have a link to your bug report? "
Comment 9 noname 2022-10-13 04:43:21 UTC
@Zamundaaa.

The issue remains even klassy application style removed.
