Created attachment 152426 [details] mouse pointer screenshot STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Upgrade to Kubuntu 22.10 dev OBSERVED RESULT Look at mouse pointer. It is distorted. See attached screenshot. It would be useful to get some details as to what could be special to your system. Would you be able to see what's special about it? This is not something we (I?) have seen before. Some ideas: Can you reproduce this on 22.04? How about on another distro like Fedora? Note that to test them you can generally just boot into their live images on USB, no need to go all the way. What graphics card and drivers are you using? Do you get any outstanding error messages in ~/.local/share/sddm/wayland-session.log?

How can I reproduce it if it happened only once I upgraded to 22.10 from 22.04? This is new to me also. I never experienced such before. And I am sorry, I forgot to specify my adapter: $ lspci | grep -i vga 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] RV730 XT [Radeon HD 4670] Log is empty: ~/.local/share/sddm$ ls -lh загалом 0 -rw------- 1 eugene eugene 0 вер 27 10:20 wayland-session.log -rw------- 1 eugene eugene 0 вер 25 02:52 xorg-session.log I will try Fedora ASAP. Thanks you for your answer.
P.S. I am using distro drivers. There is No any additional vendor drivers installations.
I checked Fedora KDE 37 Beta. And the mouse pointer looks the same (screenshot attached).
