Description Riccardo Robecchi 2022-09-23 13:20:50 UTC
SUMMARY
Selecting a file from the "recent files" dialogue does not work. The files appear to receive a numerical suffix based on their position in the list, which appears to break the selection. When I try to select a file, a message saying "Cannot find file «recentlyused:/files/file.txt-5»" is displayed.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select a file from the "recent files" list in the open/save dialogue

OBSERVED RESULT
An error message is displayed and the file is not selected.

EXPECTED RESULT
The file is selected and opened as requested.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: KDE neon
KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.98.0
Qt Version: 5.15.5

And this is the KDE dialog, not the GTK one?
Comment 2 Riccardo Robecchi 2022-09-23 14:30:14 UTC
Exactly. The GTK dialogue works perfectly well.
