SUMMARY
Selecting default in region will result in locale being set to Default.UTF-8


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. run `kcmshell5 kcm_formats`
2. Click on any option
3. Select default

OBSERVED RESULT
Set Default.UTF-8

EXPECTED RESULT
Do nothing

Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch

Can you help me understand why this is your expectation? Typically clicking the "Defaults" button in a KCM resets things to default settings. It isn't supposed to do nothing.

I can confirm this, but since the KCM got merged into Region And Language KCM on plasma 5.26, this is already been fixed.
