Description Michael D 2022-09-20 09:03:13 UTC
When I connect an external display to my laptop, I have to always select the configuration I want, which is "switch to external screen" (in the Display Config widget). The previous configuration should be remembered.

Is this a new issue on Wayland in Plasma 5.25? Did it work in the past?

In System Settings > Display & Monitor, what radio button is selected for "Save displays' properties"?

If I recall correctly, it always worked in X11 and most of the time in wayland. It now never works.

In the display config I have it set to save display properties "For any display arrangement". Should I have it set to the other?

That one should be fine.
