STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Firefox 2. Open Youtube 3. Click on volume applet from system tray OBSERVED RESULT Whole system freezes SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.98.0 Qt Version: 5.15.6 Kernel Version: 5.19.8-zen1-1-zen (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i5-9300H CPU @ 2.40GHz Memory: 7.6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® UHD Graphics 630 + NVIDIA Manufacturer: Dell Inc.
1. When this happens, can you still move the cursor? 2. If you play music and then click on the volume applet, does the music continue to play while the system is frozen? 3. Does anything bad happen in the X11 session too? Or just the Wayland session? 4. After you reboot the system as a result of the freeze, can you attach a file with the output of `journalctl --no-pager --reverse -b -1`
Fixed for some reason. No idea what did it. Weird.
