SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Play around with panels : add a default panel, then add an empty panel 2. Remove those panels 3. OBSERVED RESULT When I log out and back in, the new panels I added and removed are still there, no matter how many times I remove them, log out and back in. It's like I corrupted my panel configuration. Also logging in suddenly takes much more time. EXPECTED RESULT The removed panels are removed for good. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: N.A. macOS: N.A. Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.97.0 Qt Version: 5.15.5 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Sorry this happened and sorry no one got back to you about it sooner. Any chance you can upgrade to Plasma 5.27.4 and test again with that version? There are some code changes relevant to this that may have fixed it. Thanks, and sorry again!
