SUMMARY
kio-gdrive is not able to open Google Drive "shortcuts" (links).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. from the Google Drive web interface right click on a file or a folder and select "Add shortcut to Drive" and then "Add shortcut"
2. load the folder with the shortcut in kio-gdrive

OBSERVED RESULT
All the shortcuts (regardless if they are file or folder shortcuts) will appear as 0B files, that cannot be opened

EXPECTED RESULT
Shortcuts can be opened.
