SUMMARY Adding/Removing a favorite from Kicker only takes effect after restarting it. Downstream bug report including screenshots: https://github.com/OpenMandrivaAssociation/distribution/issues/2844 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add or remove a Favorite from kicker by right-clicking on a menu entry and selecting "Add to Favorites"/"Remove from Favorites" 2. Open Kicker again, the list of favorites has not been refreshed OBSERVED RESULT Old favorites are displayed (until kicker is restarted, either by restarting plasma or by switching to kickoff and back) EXPECTED RESULT New favorites are displayed SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: OpenMandriva Cooker KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.98.0 Qt Version: 5.15.6 (with all KDE patches) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Nothing overly suspicious in console output. This might be triggered by distro default configs, but we're not applying any related patches.
Cannot reproduce with current git master. There were some activity manager changes recently, so maybe they've fixed it? Any chance you can test the current git master version, or the 5.26 beta release which will come out in two days? Thanks!
5.25.90 behaves the same way.
Cannot reproduce on master either. Perhaps need to test with KF5.99
