SUMMARY *** When you move your mouse at the left side of screen the icon couldnt be selected and causes flickring and i have found out that only happens if Mouse's Acceleration profile is selected as Adaptive. [ selecting flat is fixing this problem] [ on the other hand touchpad is always have same bug even you select Flat or adaptive acceleration ] *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Move your mouse left side of screen to select first icon on task manager 2. At first it selects/hovers and instantly it deselects it 3. Which cause it is not possible to open/run related icon's task OBSERVED RESULT Always flickrs when you move your mouse up or down in left side of task manager EXPECTED RESULT It should always constantly selects/hovers related icon Again I need to mention this if i select Flat Mouse's Acceleration profile this bug disapears [ but still exist in touchpad [even you select flat or adaptive] ] PS: If this is not correct product or component for this bug please feel free to move related product Thank you SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.98 Qt Version: 5.15.5

And I forget to mention i never tested this bug on X11, I can observe this bug on Wayland
Are you using any kind of screen scaling?
As far as i know i am not using screen scaling , 0 special configuration, Full Kde compiled with kdesrc-build and after compile deleted all .config .local and all settings and let kde plasma generates configs from scratch [maybe it is getting some configs from systemwide configs or templates from distro i dont know ] Planing to take a screen record and share tomorrow to show it a bit more obvious

Oh I know what this is! It's ultimately got the same root cause as Bug 459328, which is now fixed for the final release of Plasma 5.26 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 459328 ***
