STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Krita
2. Watch splashscreen get locked
3. Cry

OBSERVED RESULT
Krita splashscreen/loading screen gets stuck on "adding screen resources" whenever it tries to open

EXPECTED RESULT
Krita to open and work

From experience, that sounds like most likely a problem with the display driver. Your driver seems to be pretty old, and it might be a good try to update it. The current version for you GPI seems to be 516.

Please also check whether there is a kritacrash.log in %APPDATA%

Other things you can try are:

* start as administrator
* start as another user
* start using compatibility settings
