Description Philippe ROUBACH 2022-09-03 14:08:09 UTC
Please replace "Night color" by "Clight".

https://github.com/FedeDP/Clight

Clight is feature richer than "Night color".

In particular :
with the webcam or the light sensor
- it adapts the brightness of the screen to the ambient light
- it adapts the gamma of the screen to the ambient light

Compliant with X11 and Wayland.

A big thing : you can disable/enable brightness or gamma adapting when using VLC or Digikam for example according to get the actual colors of the videos or photos. You cannot do this with "Night Color". That is why I searched something to replace "Night Color".

Clight is mature. I used it fore one year without any problem.

Replace "thing" with "random third-party thing" is not a useful thing to report.

Bug reports should always describe problems instead of proposing solutions, see https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Issue_Reporting#Proposing_a_solution
